After numerous months of planning and hard work, the installation at RAF Menwith Hill was completed. Specific criteria were required for the installation including a high specification 6000 litre fuel tank, with dual walled fuel lines incorporating a leak detection system. The fuel tank had safety alarms for low and high fuel level, bund alarm and a safety valve to prevent overfilling.
The Caterpiller 800 kVA diesel generator, was installed into a custom designed bespoke container, having to give sound pressure levels of 65 dB @ 1 metre. The project was designed, installed and completed within time scale to customers specification and satisfaction. |
