Following the catastrophic fire at a warehouse in Atherstone on Stour, Nr Stratford-upon-Avon, Kentec Generators are actively involved with the supply of a new diesel generator for the rebuild of the building.
A 1000 kVA set has been supplied to provide peak lopping capabilities for the new warehouse, when load demand exceeds a certain kilowatt level. A bespoke exhaust system design and installation by Kentec Generators was also required. Synchronising control equipment, with G59 protection, is being fitted to the generator to ensure synchronising to the grid is safely achieved and monitored at all times. A 6000 litre diesel fuel tank, with various protective alarms was also supplied as per specification. The set was fully load tested at Kentec Generators before delivery to site and tested and commissioned on site by ourselves. Update. The diesel generator has been performing without problems since commissioning and a new diesel generator remote monitoring system has since been installed. |
