The GEP500 manufactured by Caterpillar is a compact and efficient diesel, 3 phase generator that incorporates a Perkins diesel engine. Fitted with a battery charger, jacket water heater and a integral fuel tank, the GEP500 will produce 500kVA on a Standby basis and 450kVA on a Prime running basis. The GEP500 is available as a open unit or with a sound attenuated and weather proof canopy. This generator is fitted with a Caterpillar Powerwizard control panel which is suitable for Automatic mains failure transfer when used in conjunction with an ATS panel.
