Returns Policy
Kentec Generators Returns Policy: (1st June 2011).
Welcome to the terms and conditions for the website of Kentec Generators. These terms and conditions are applicable to the online use of www.kentecgenerators.co.uk By utilising this website facility in any way you accept and are bound by these terms and our general terms and conditions of business. We request that all customers respect the staff of Kentec Generators in order that they can deal with your enquiry in a swift, civilised and effective manor.
Warranty
Our products are covered by the manufacturers own warranty policy, you either contact us or the manufacturer directly. Kentec Generators does not have an influence on the manufacturers warranty policy or terms and as such the manufacturers decision is final. Manufacturers contact details will be in the literature pack supplied with the product.
Kentec Generators or any manufacturer are not liable for any consequential damages or costs incurred whilst your equipment is being repaired. It is the customers responsibility on all ‘buy on line products’ to get the product to a dealer and the customer shall be liable for any transport or carriage charges.
The customer shall be liable for all non-warrantee related repairs as deemed by the manufacturer. This includes most fuel related problems and non-compliance with the manufacturers guidelines.
Delivery
Delivery is carried out by third party carriers and is free where indicated delivery is normally within 3 working days. In the unlikely event of a delay or the item is out of stock we will contact as soon as possible using the contact details you provided. Delivery is normally 0800-1700hrs on weekdays unless you have prior agreement for an alternate delivery schedule.
Whilst we endeavour to achieve delivery schedules we cannot be held responsible for third party carriers failing to meet the required delivery schedule. We, nor the manufacturers compensate for failed deliveries or any consequential costs related to a failed delivery as this is beyond our control.
Returns
Returns are to be arranged with Kentec Generators, please contact us directly by e-mail, telephone or in writing. Contact details are shown on the contact page on our website. The purchaser has the right to return any product, at the purchasers expense, for whatever reason within 14 days of receiving your order. But a minimum 15% re-stocking fee plus vat will be charged if:
- Products are found to have been used, misused or badly re-packaged on return. In most cases the product will have been shipped direct from the manufacturer in their original packaging. We strongly advise that that this packaging is kept for 14 days in good condition to facilitate with any possible returns.
- Products are returned at the purchasers expense are still the responsibility of the purchaser whilst they are in transit.
- If Kentec Generators agrees to arrange to collect the product, please make sure that the product has been unused, is not damaged in anyway and is returned ‘complete with all items and literature’ as received in it’s original packaging. Products that are not returned in ‘satisfactory condition’, i.e re-saleable as new will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Items deemed unsuitable are bound by the above statement(s) and are returned at the purchasers expense.
